WH & R McCartney Insurance Brokers is a family business which commenced trading in 1932.  The two current directors are from the third generation of the family.

We are independent intermediaries and deal with all the major and several specialist insurance companies.

Our offices are on Hamilton Road, Motherwell where we have a staff of 10, each highly trained to offer professional, friendly service to our wide range of clients.

The company is a Member of Broker Network, the UK's leading network of independent insurance brokers. With over 200 members nationwide, membership gives combined expertise and negotiating power, as well as improved access to markets, through dedicated underwriting teams with the UK's major insurers, a Lloyd's broking facility and an exclusive underwriting agency. As a result our clients benefit from an extensive range of products and competitive pricing.

The company's two directors are:

Kenneth McCartney
Kenneth has worked in the business for 25 years and is well known to businesses throughout Lanarkshire and Central Scotland. He is a founding member of the Lanarkshire Business Group.
